Delivery Locations

Initially Kindred Spirits will only be delivering to the UK mainland. We hope that in 2019 we will be able to expand this to cover all UK destinations and some international locations as well.

Delivery Charges

The Standard Delivery Charge is £4.95 and delivery is free if spending over £75.

Speed of Delivery

Standard Delivery will likely take between 5-7 working days after the order is received. If you need your items sooner, we offer an express delivery option for delivery in 2-3 working days at £TBC

Product Information

How long do your products last?

This is largely dependent on the strength of the alcohol and ingredients. Full strength alcohol (above 35%) does not tend to have a BBE date, however, liqueurs (under 35%) should be consumed within 6-12 months of purchase. We do advise that the bottles are stored upright preferably in a dark place away from contact with direct sunlight.

Do the bottles come with any information regarding the distillers?

On each bottle there will be a Kindred Spirits Tag giving a small description of the shop, along with directions to the website to find more information.

The hampers will come with an individual product card, explaining in more detail the serve suggestions and products received.

Will the product name be on the bottle?

Yes, as standard practise all our bottles will have the product details including ABV, bottle volume and product name written onto the bottle.

Where can I find more information regarding my product?

On the shop page you will be able to find individual product information and perfect serve suggestions. If you want to found out more about the distillers themselves, please consult our ‘Distillers’ page.

I’m buying a bottle as a present, can it be gift wrapped?

While we offer a gift wrapping service on purchases made in our store, unfortunately we cannot offer the same for online sales. Due to the regulations of posting alcohol, and our own standards for protecting items in transit, we need to be able to individually wrap each bottle to ensure they arrive in one piece.

Personalisation

How long can my personal message be?

If you are ordering a stacking bottle, yin-yang or smaller bottles in a hamper we advise that you keep your message short – no longer than around 10-12 words. For single bottles (350ml, 500ml, 700ml) a lot more space is available and longer messages can be included. If there are any issues with the personalisation you have requested we will contact you.

Refilling the Bottles

Do you refill the bottles?

Yes, if a customer returns one of our bottles to us we can refill the bottle for them. This makes a second purchase cheaper as only the contents are paid for, the bottle charge is waived.

Other

Can I purchase empty bottles?

We know that our bottles are very attractive, but we do not sell them empty.
