North Point Distillery is one of the newest distilleries we work with. Established in January 2020 by Alex MacDonald and Struan Mackie with the aim to create premium Scottish spirits that celebrate the history and heritage of the north Highlands while redefining sustainability and environmental practices in distilling.

They create sustainably-produced, small-batch spirits using the very finest locally- and ethically-sourced ingredients available. 

Their bespoke, copper-pot stills were designed specifically with the capability to create many types of spirit. Boasting a custom, modular and all electric design, the three stills – Sandy Stroma, Audrey, and Gertie – have everything needed to create award-winning spirits.

Their flagship product, North Point Pilot Rum, is unique in the rum industry: distilled in copper-pot stills and then aged in former Highland Whisky casks to produce a young rum with a smooth finish and a multitude of character and flavour.
